UDAP NO-FED-BEAR Bear Resistant Canister, Hiking Camping Backpacking Hunting Food Storage Container, 2 Gallons Many National Parks in the United States require certified bear resistant containers. When you hit the trails with the bear resistant food canister, you can be confident that your food is safely protected from bears. The bear proof container measures 8" in diameter, 10" in height, and 2.4" in weight. Depending on how you pack it, the interior is 500 cubic inches (2 gallons). It is IGBC and Forest Service Certified. This bear proof food storage canister is easy for you to open, but not for bears. Its metal fasteners can easily be opened with a coin.
