Consider Donating to Protect the Adirondacks this Holiday Season!

Dear Friends,

It's the end of the year when many of us contribute to organizations and charities that are meaningful to us. This year I would like to ask you to consider donating to an organization that I not only care about but actively support both financially and with my personal time. As a member of the Board of Directors for Protect the Adirondacks, I feel empowered to help protect one of the most important natural resources not only in our region but in the entire United States of America. It is a place that I love and visit, and where I started my business over thirty years ago. We have helped tens of thousands of customers get the gear and clothing they need to explore the 6 million acre Adirondack State Park, and now it's time that I'd like to ask you for your support in protecting it for not only our own enjoyment but for that of future generations of outdoor enthusiasts.

We work on open space protection, sustainable hiking trails, water quality monitoring, and wildlife protection, among many other things. We recently won a major lawsuit to uphold the Forever Wild clause in the New York State Constitution, ensured that wolves that wander into New York are protected under the Endangered Species Act, and helped pass legislation to stop wildlife killing contests.

With your help we can continue this great work and assure the future of the Adirondacks for both people and wildlife for generations to come. Please consider making a contribution today to this great cause. And if you donate soon, your donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar until we hit $100,000 in contributions.
